Station Leak – Emergency Response
Location: Los Angeles County
Project Description: The client experienced a failure of a section of fuel piping that resulted in an entire fuel delivery facility being taken offline. W.A. Rasic Construction responded to the client’s emergency under an “On Call” contract within two hours. To accomplish the work, W.A. Rasic Construction performed extensive hand digging within the existing pipe array, moving 32 cubic yards of contaminated soil to allow access to the manifold piping leak. Welders then continued repair efforts around the clock to replace the piping. In total W.A. Rasic Construction worked eight days straight, 24 hours per day, to get the system operational.
