Multiyear Service Contract

Project Description: As part of a multiyear services contract, W.A. Rasic Construction is responsible for performing all underground civil construction efforts on a fixed unit price basis as directed by Southern California Edison. Working in and around live/energized substructures, our 25 crews install electrical vaults and manholes, demolish concrete vaults and trenches, place conduit with a concrete encasement, backfill with slurry, restore pavement, and other improvements. Further work included temporary shoring, and installing Voltek Shoring System to support structural concrete repairs within deteriorating live/energized substructures. W.A. Rasic Construction responds to approximately 200 emergency/storm callouts annually, with crews arriving on site within two hours. Since all work locations are within the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, many projects required major traffic and pedestrian control efforts.
