Beverly Glen Boulevard 34.5 KV and 4.8 KV Conduit Run Upgrades

Client: Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP)

LOCATION: LOS ANGELES, CA

Project Value: $3M

Project Description:  This project was designed to provide critical electrical infrastructure upgrades to a residential area in Los Angeles. This work consisted of installing approximately 8,400 linear feet of 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-inch conduits in multiple concrete-encased duct bank configurations. We installed a total of eight LADWP electrical (H-202 G-3) vaults that are 8 feet wide x 16 feet long x 12-feet deep. Vaults were set using 100-ton rated cranes. Excavations ranged from five to 20 feet deep and were performed using beam and plate shoring, trench shields, and hydraulic jacks. Extensive pavement, sidewalk, and curb and gutter restoration were also part of the scope of work.
